Lissette De La Rosa was born and raised right here in Miami Dade County, Florida, to very humble and hard-working Cuban parents. She started her career, like many well-rounded litigators handling insurance defense cases, where she tried many cases to verdict. Then, she travelled to the other side and handled Plaintiff’s insurance cases and received a vast amount of experience on both sides.
Her temperament and comportment are exactly what we need in the County Court bench. It goes without saying that Lissette De La Rosa is also very bright, accomplished, patient and pleasant to everyone.
She is graduate of the esteemed Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law School, and with almost 21 years of litigation experience, she has a lot to offer Miami-Dade County and is very excited to serve and give back.
Lissette De La Rosa also spends time giving back to at-risk youths with her work on the Miami Bridge Gala Committee and is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association. She wears many hats as she is also a wife and a mother of two young children. It would be her long-lived dream and pleasure to serve as one of the next County Court Judges in Miami-Dade County.
